The laughing fox: Nice looking pub within walking distance from Alexandria train station, next to the bridge towards Bonhill. This is a pub that I very much enjoy drinking in, so much so that out of all the pubs that I have drank in on this adventure, this is the one pub that I have been going to the most, and that's saying something as there is something about this pub that keeps bringing me back here, whether it's the atmosphere, the people, or everything I look for in a pub, which says it all, I do enjoy this place and will do until I can't no more
Opening Times:
This pub is open every day from 11am-midnight Monday-Thursday, 11am-1am on Fridays and Saturdays and 12:30pm-midnight on Sundays, they will even stay open until 2am on Hogmanay
Service:
Bar service here is really good as it is easy to get served depending on whether it is quiet or busy, since there is enough staff to handle everyone. Because the staff know me well, they will pour me a pint whenever I walk in
Entertainment:
Entertainment is on every week. This will range from karaoke to discos, bingos and quiz nights. They even host darts tournaments and will even have poker nights on occasion. They have a board that shows what entertainment the pub will have
Social Activities:
Although they don't have a pool table, they do however have a darts board, a jukebox and a couple of puggies. Even the TVs will show either sorts or music channels as well. They also have an outdoor area, if you want to have a smoke or v**e, which is handy whether it is in the day or night
Food:
They don’t do food as they don’t have a kitchen on the premises, but I think they will have sandwiches if there is a darts tournament on. There is an Indian take away next door, so you can order from there. Some of the staff and customers will order from next door and eat it in the bar
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere that this pub has here is really lovely, I love it so much, that I come to this pub a lot, even more so than I do going to my local pubs in Balfron, where I'm from, being that they haven’t been as good as they used to be
People:
All the people who I have met while drinking in this pub, both staff and customers have been very friendly and I get along with a lot of them, so much so that they have given me the nickname 'The Wanderer', as I tend to take the long way home, by walking 15 miles. I have even bumped into a few friends of mine from work or not, so I always feel welcome whenever I come to this place. However, some people have been rude to me, but I don't let that stop me
