October jobs before the doe season.
The roe doe season opens on 21 October in Scotland and 1 November in England and Wales. A few jobs now will save you missed chances later. Here are our top five:

1. Check your seats. Bolts, ladders, straps, brackets and seat boards.
2. Check your lanes and backstops. Leaf fall changes everything.
3. Review your seat positions. Deer move with the crops and acorns.
4.Check your zero. Need targets? Head over to our friends at www.tomstargets.co.uk
5. Plan your cull and your access. And remember, the clocks go back on 25 October.

Need a new seat in place for the season? Order in October for delivery within 3 to 4 weeks.
