📢😢Big Announcement Incoming😢📢

So the time has unfortunately come for us to announce that we will be closing our business doors this Sunday the 14th December….🥲

Legends has been and always will be where Legends are made….😀

We’ll be having one last big party this Sunday and hope you can join us to say a loud Hurrah and to see you soon in our new venture just down the street early 2026…🍾

Eight years we’ve been here in the same venue and it’s had the highest of highs which is a lifetime of memories….❤️

We know there’s a wee group of folk who will be cheering when we close, I’ll raise a toast to yous on Sunday for sure🍻

For our pool players it’s free pool this Sunday from 11am-3pm and I’ll be there to give you all one last game….in here anyway, The Thistle it’ll continue with our pool games every day….🎱

Then the big party starts 4pm till very late with Barry Jai giving us the biggest send off and him having his last gig in Legends…🥹

Keep in mind tho The Thistle Bar still welcomes you all after this Sunday with weekend entertainment, 7 days restaurant and a separate pool table area….

Hopefully we see you for our final Legends Party…. Sunday 14th from 11am….🥳🍾

That’s our amazing pub on the market. We have decided to sell on our business to concentrate on our sister bar and restaurant and for our brand new restaurant opening early next year. We are still open in Legends until a new owner takes over.

🤶As the festive season draws closer, the joy, happiness and families come together to share presents, love and laughter…

🥲This isn’t the same for everyone tho due to financial worry, prioritising eating or heating or to do without either. Mental health can be triggered resulting in anxiety, not going out, blocking out phone calls from friends and families or choosing to stay in bed until light shows at the end of the tunnel…

📢We have decided to work alongside Diamonds In The Community to raise a simple but very much needed awareness of mental health this festive season….

🙌We also believe in supporting local independent businesses who work hard each day, fight to keep their livelihoods going for their families, compete with the big companies to keep costs down and to remain part of your town…

🙏So local businesses, big or small, and the community if you want to purchase a voucher to gift, we call on you - hairdressers to tattooists, restaurants to beauty outlets, children’s play areas to cafes, fancy dress shops to pubs, car washes to the local convenience stores and every other independent business out there….
Let’s get the community back where we all belong, out with friends, out for a bite to eat with the kids, a date night with a loved one, letting the children run wild in play areas to make new friends, get the hair cut they’ve only hoped for for Christmas, or simply a few groceries to fill the fridge for a few days of mind relaxing….

🌲We will have Christmas envelopes at both our venues that will be presented to Diamonds In The Community (aka Santa) once they are filled and they will send out accordingly via North Pole to the community.
So we ask for vouchers with your business details, amount gifted and the service you’re offering….
