A lovely visit from this morning to set up their student project of Blind Date With A Book run by their Business and Enterprise groups!

Blueberry Academy provides special support for young adults with learning differences, the main aims are to promote employability and independence, they offer services in York, Northallerton and Scarborough.
They provide for students aged 16-25 with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) they also fund employment services for adults funded through Social Care.

We are so so happy to host the space for the incredible work the students have done and the merchandising they’ve provided is top quality!

So if you’re after a blind date with a book pop into Books & Bevs and support this incredible organisation! 📖 🫐

Our May Book Clubs are now live on our website! Due to high demand of re-sign ups we have limited spaces available for this month so don’t miss out!

Our contemporary fiction pick for May is The Names by Florence Knapp taking place on Thursday 21st May 6pm-7.30pm.

And the horror & thrills pick for May is The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix taking place on Thursday 28th May 6pm-7.30pm.
