❤️ A LITTLE THANK YOU FROM US ALL AT THE MASONS ARMS ❤️
Yesterday was one of those days that reminds me just how lucky we are to have such a wonderful team and amazing customers.
Unfortunately, our Head Chef had to leave unexpectedly due to a family emergency. I won’t go into details, but one thing I have always believed is that family comes first, always. Work will still be there tomorrow, but when your family needs you, that’s where you should be. ❤️
As you can imagine, this left us a little stretched in the kitchen, and some of our lovely customers experienced longer waiting times than usual.
For that, I sincerely apologise, but I also want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone for being so patient, kind and understanding. It really does mean so much.
And a special mention to our amazing team, who really did pull together when we needed them most. ❤️
👩🍳 Amber and Ruben in the kitchen – you two were absolutely fantastic! You stepped up, worked your socks off and kept everything going under pressure. I couldn’t be prouder of you both.
🍻 Cory, Heidi, Lydia, Jack and Alana – front of house and behind the bar, you all did an incredible job keeping everything running, looking after our customers and supporting each other. You’re all stars! ⭐
It’s days like yesterday that remind me what a brilliant little team we have. Everyone just mucked in, got on with it and helped wherever they were needed.
And then, to finish the day, we had the lovely Nathan singing live, with everyone joining in, singing along and enjoying themselves.
Looking around the pub, seeing everyone together, laughing, singing and having a good time, I thought to myself…
THIS is why I love this pub so much. ❤️
The Masons Arms isn’t just about serving food and pulling pints. It’s about people, friendships, looking out for one another and that wonderful community spirit that you just can’t buy.
We’re not perfect, we’ll have our challenging days, and sometimes things don’t quite go to plan. But one thing I do know is that we have a team who genuinely care and customers who feel more like extended family.
And as for me and Neil… well, by the end of the day, us two old farts could barely walk!Backs aching, feet killing us, and wondering if we’re getting a bit too old for all this! But we survived to tell the tale! 😂❤️
At the end of the day, we’re not just a pub. We’re one big family. ❤️
Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.
