Today we say a heartfelt goodbye as we close the doors of The Plough for the final time. ❤️
For so many years this place has been far more than just a restaurant. It’s been a meeting place for friends and family, a place for celebrations, laughter, stories, and memories that we will always treasure. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support from our amazing customers and community. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for every visit, every conversation, and every moment you shared with us.
While this chapter comes to an end, the building will soon begin a new life as an adult day care centre, continuing to serve the community in a different but equally important way. We’d like to wish Nadya and her team the very best of luck as they take over and start this new journey.
Our wonderful team are also moving on to exciting new chapters:
• Matthew will be heading up the kitchen at The Lounge at Crow Wood
• Sophie is moving on to The Loom Loft
• Reece will be joining the Coach and Horses
• Nicole will be continuing her studies in York
And of course, Steve is retiring — and looking forward to spending plenty of time on the golf course! ⛳
As one famous movie line says:
"After all, tomorrow is another day."
