Hey all an update from the Landords on the immediate future of the Grapes.

Statement Regarding The Grapes:

‘After an incredibly successful decade under the current management, The Grapes will close at the end of September 2024 for some well needed repair & refurbishment, reopening with new stewardship in early 2025. A new business opportunity has presented itself to Andrew & Kylie and although we are incredibly sad to see their ship sail, it has been a pleasure witnessing how he & his team have re-instated a thriving pub community in one of our town’s most well-known and much-loved pubs. They should be very proud of what they have achieved to date, and we wish them every success in his future endeavours.’

The Final Countdown!!! (Apologies for long message)

As many of you are aware, our time at The Grapes comes to an end on 22nd September 2024.
(Not bad considering not many thought we’d last 6 months in May 2014)
With our leaving party being Saturday 21st!!

We would like to thank everyone who has supported us, played for one of our teams or just simply joined us for a drink.
The Grapes has been a place where we have laughed, loved & cried, but it will always be a place we remember for the people.
There is honestly too many to name you all but hopefully we will get to see many of you before we leave to express our gratitude.

As important are the people who unfortunately have left us over the years and to them we raise a pint in memory, Teresa, Sandra, Carol, Pete, Hughie, Steve, Jim, Roy, Pint of 16,
