All the kids have disappeared back to school and everything seems quieter in the village... Surely the perfect time for the adults to have a relaxing pint of cask ale and maybe a bite to eat!πŸ˜‰

We have all new barrels on this morning and it's a great selection...
A new one for us up first - a traditional from Stardust Brewery, followed by the classic from Wye Valley Brewery, and finally a delicious hazy pale from Good Chemistry Brewing 🍻

If you dont manage to make it until the weekend, the next up ales are just as good...
A new cwrw Cymraeg , the best bitter from Nash Point Brewing Co., another classic and a returning favourite from TudorBreweryWales, their golden ale 🍺

We are currently still open 12-9pm, 7 days a week for you to visit. Food is served 12-2pm and 6-8pm Mon-Sat and our fabulous Sunday lunch is served 12-3pm. Bookings are still advised on weekends, but walk-ins are always welcome!🍽

See you all soon πŸ’ž

This week we've got an especially scrumptious damson and apple crumble on the pudding menu for you to try - do you know how hard it is to remove the stones from damsons?? πŸ˜‚
We book tables at 12 and 2pm, but you can walk in any time between 12 and 3.

The final summer bank holiday is fast approaching and it's a busy one for us at The Railway Inn Abergynolwyn - it's time for the annual Sioe Abergynolwyn Show and we are once again creating a fantastic outdoor bar for you all in the show field. Watch this space for everything we will be offering down there, and in the mean time come and enjoy a cask ale in the pub with us!🍻

Our current line-up features not one, but TWO, Wye Valley Brewery classics - and on at the same time! A rare treat and gaurenteed to dissapear quickly... Alongside those we have a summery, citrusy, hazy blonde from Brains Brewery Cardiff - !🍺

If you don't make it in time for those, the next up collection is just as good and features 3 NEW ales for you to try! - a best bitter from Farm Yard Brew Co, the pale ale with New Zealand hops from , and from Tiny Rebel Brewing Co. - a DDH IPA that we can't wait to try😍

We expect the pub to be extra busy this weekend, so please be mindful that we are a small team working our very hardest to provide the excellent ale, food and service that we are known for. Patience, a thank-you and a smile all go a long way - please be kind to our wonderful staff!❀️

As always food is served 12-2pm and 6-8pm Monday-Saturday and we serve Sunday lunch 12-3pm 🍽

See you all soon!

Finally the rain has returned (gently), our flowers are much happier and the temperature is perfect for a pint outside 😍

The current line-up features two ales we think are absolute classics - , a session bitter from Purple Moose Brewery/Bragdy MΕ΅s Piws and , the pale ale from Wye Valley Brewery. We also have a very exciting ale, and a new one for us at The Railway Inn Abergynolwyn... from Magic Dragon Brewing!

We're getting through the casks pretty quickly at the moment, but lucky for you our next up is just as good... Another new ale AND new brewery for us - from Goffs Brewery, then another classic (that we haven't had on in a while!) - , and last but certainly not least we have making a return, from one of our favourite Welsh brewerys, Bragdy Twt Lol at The Trefforest Brewery 🍺

Remember food is served 12-2pm and 6-8pm Mon-Sat and 12-3pm Sunday for our Roast! Booking is advised during the holidays to gaurentee a table.

See you all soon!β˜€οΈ
