💚 A CLINICAL PERFORMANCE FROM THE SENIOR MEN! 💚

A fantastic afternoon at home as our Senior Men put in a statement performance to beat Bangor 42–20. 🔥

From the opening whistle, the lads played with intent, energy and confidence, putting pressure on Bangor and making the most of their opportunities. The scoreboard reflected a performance full of attacking threat, clinical finishing and plenty of hard work across the park.

A 42-point haul and a strong defensive effort saw the boys secure an important home victory.

And there was another reason to celebrate, with youth product Will Hewitt making his Senior Men’s debut. 👏💚

It’s a great reward for the work being put in throughout our youth setup, and with more young players waiting in the wings and hungry for their opportunity, the future looks exciting. The pathway is there — now it’s about earning that chance and taking it when it comes.

Speaking after the game, Coach Mike Jones was delighted with what he saw:

“I’m really proud of the lads today. It was a cracking performance and they showed just how clinical and dangerous they can be. There’s plenty for us to take from the game, but we’ll be straight back into a big session on Wednesday and then it’s onto the next game.” 💚

A big performance, a big result, a debut to remember — and plenty more hard work ahead.

Senior Men 42–20 Bangor
💚 One team. One club. One pathway. Onto the next.

Best of luck to Bangor for the rest of the season 💪🏽

There were plenty of positives to take from last weekend’s performance, particularly in the first-half..

Now it’s time to build on that.

The lads have been back on the training ground, working hard and putting the lessons from last weekend into practice. With home advantage behind them, the squad will be looking to put in 80 minutes of committed, disciplined and confident rugby.

🔥 We need the Gele faithful behind the boys!

Get down to the club, bring your voices and support the men in black and green as we look to get our first result of the season on home soil.
