Unveiling history. While peeling back the layers to prep the facade, we came face-to-face with this piece of the Half Moon’s past. It’s a great reminder of the legacy we are looking after.

Signs of change here at the Half Moon. We’ve stripped back the old signage and removed unused, weathered brackets to reveal the true lines of the building. It’s a blank slate now, and we’re ready for the improvements. We’re also in the process of revitalising the brand to match our vision for the inn—watch this space.

The valley road is now open to all traffic. we are also working hard behind the scene revamping the business.

Villagers in Llanthony and Cwmyoy had been cut off since a landslip in January.

12:00 PM: Doors open! Start your afternoon early with a crisp pint or a cold cider.
6:00 PM: The BBQ fires up!
7:00 PM: The Hay Shantymen take the stage for a night of foot-stomping maritime melodies.
