TALKS AT THE BAR ✨

Join us at SOBR on Thursday 28th May for an evening with TEDx speaker Sarah Rochester as she reflects on over four years alcohol-free.

Back in 2022, Sarah gave a TEDx talk in Aberdeen at the beginning of her alcohol-free journey, speaking about her relationship with alcohol and the idea that you don’t actually need a reason to stop drinking. Now, four years on, she joins us at SOBR to continue the conversation.

What changes after year one? What do the milestones feel like? How do you navigate socialising, parenting and home life in a world where alcohol still has such a strong presence? And what does life look like when alcohol simply no longer has a place in it?

Expect a relaxed and honest conversation about quietly normalising life without alcohol, followed by a Q&A at the end of the talk.
