With the Champions League over and the team plane having landed Stateside see details about arrangements for Scotlands opening World Cup games at the Butchers Arms.

To get you in the mood we’ll have a free live DJs playing through the day from 2pm-10pm!

We want to ensure a great atmosphere as usual in the Butchers so drinks & first goal scorer competitions are only valid for the game.
Doors will close at midnight for the Haiti game and kick off for the other two, so make sure you’ve got your tickets!

The football season isn’t quite over yet with the Champions league final on at 5pm today between Arsenal and PSG. It’s going to be busy so get down the Butchers early!
Before that at 1pm Scotland play Curacao in a warm ahead of their World Cup games.
If football ain’t your thing then you can always just sun yourself in the b**r garden! (Note sun not guaranteed 😁).

It’s warming up nicely so where better to cool off than the Butchers Arms b**r garden this (for the lucky few) bank holiday weekend.
On top of that there’s still football to watch with the Scottish cup final and the English promotion play off final today and the last round of EPL games tomorrow.
Sounds like thirsty work to me.

TGIF. It’s the weekend and we’ve got a packed Saturday for you at the Butchers Arms.
We kick off with a title decider at 12.30 between Celtic and Hearts. English FA cup at 3pm between Chelsea and Manchester City. Then we have Roots Rock Reggae in the lounge in the evening.

Hi, if you haven’t noticed we’ve had a bit of snow recently. To give staff a break from travelling through this bad weather and to give the council a chance to do something about the pavements and roads we’ve taken the decision to close for Wednesday, re-opening Thursday at 4pm. The Butchers Arms and staff hope all or customers old and new had a great festive period. We also want to wish all our customers a big thank you for all their support in 2025. It’s not easy out there for small independent pubs so it’s important we recognise your loyalty and support. So from today for two weeks all the way through to end of day on the 15th January we’re taking 50p off a pint of Tennents to say Thank You. 🇹🇷 🍻 🍻🏁
