Situated on the historic Zip World Tower site, Cegin Glo Bar and Bistro boasts floor to ceiling views of the Phoenix zip line, Tower Coaster and the stunning Rhigos mountain range beyond. With an exclusive, locally-sourced menu developed by our in-house head chef, Al, you can kick back and tuck into delicious Welsh cuisine, or grab a quick snack before your adventure. Designed by Welsh interior de
signers, Môn Interiors, Cegin Glo’s modern yet rustic style is the perfect setting to compliment the site’s rich history as a former coal mine, and references to its prolific past can be seen in every nook and cranny. Developed by Tan Lan interiors, the impressive bar boasts a Tower replica structure that sits in the middle of this stylish space, with a vast range of soft and alcoholic beverages available. The name itself, pronounced ‘Keg-in Glorr’, is Welsh for ‘Coal Kitchen’, chosen for its nod to the site’s former use, blending with the new era – this was chosen by a resident local to Zip World Tower, Paul Williams. The eclectic menu has been developed by our head chef, Al, who is passionate about creating high-quality, locally-sourced meals for each of our sites. There is something for everyone, ranging from classic Welsh dishes, such as Rarebit and Cawl, to your more traditional sandwiches, and fish and chips. Whether you’re in need of a refuel after your Zip World adventure, or want to sit back, relax, enjoy some stunning views alongside great food and drink, this is the spot for you. We look forward to welcoming you to Cegin Glo with open arms in Spring 2021.
