🍂✨ HARVEST FESTIVAL TODAY! ✨🍂

Yesterday was certainly a busy one, but we’re not stopping there! ❤️ Today we have another fantastic community event taking place.

🍁 Our Harvest Festival starts at 4pm, raising much-needed funds for our Christmas Lights 🎄✨ and helping make sure our villages look beautiful and festive at such a special time of year.

Come along and support a wonderful local cause while treating yourself to some delicious homemade, freshly baked goodies 🧁🍰🍪

🎁 We also have some gorgeous hampers, very kindly donated, up for grabs…

🚲 AND there’s even a BIKE to be won!

So pop along from 4pm, bring the family, grab yourself a treat and help us raise as much as we can towards making our villages sparkle this Christmas. 🎄✨

❤️ TOGETHER FOR TEDDY – THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS ❤️

Yesterday, our wonderful community came together once again for Together for Teddy, and what an incredibly special and emotional day it was. 🧸❤️

A fantastic group of us took on the walk from Caerphilly Castle all the way to The Crown, and the atmosphere from beginning to end was amazing. There was laughter, encouragement and a real sense of togetherness every step of the way.

To every single person who put on their walking shoes and joined us — thank you. To everyone who sponsored, donated, supported us along the route or helped behind the scenes — thank you. Every person played a part in making the day so special.

When we arrived back at The Crown, the fun continued with a fantastic afternoon for the children. There were lots of activities to enjoy, glitter tattoos, plenty of smiles and laughter, before everyone got to bop the evening away with DJ Col, who was, as always, his fabulous self and kept the party going. 🎶💃

But behind all the fun, laughter and celebrations was the reason we were all there — Teddy. 🧸❤️

Seeing so many people give up their time and come together to show their love and support for Teddy and his family was incredibly moving. Sometimes there simply aren’t enough words to describe what it means to see a community wrap its arms around one of its own.

Yesterday wasn’t just about a walk or a fun day. It was about people standing together. It was about showing Teddy and his family that they are surrounded by people who care, people who want to help and people who are walking alongside them every step of the way.

To Teddy and his family — we hope yesterday showed you just how much love and support surrounds you. This community is behind you, cheering you on and sending you all the love and strength in the world. ❤️

And to our incredible community — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Whether you walked, donated, volunteered, entertained, helped organise, brought your family along or simply showed your support, you helped make yesterday something we will remember for a very long time.

One little boy. One incredible community. So much love. 🧸❤️

This Sunday at 4pm at The Crown, we’re holding our Annual Harvest Festival, and this year we’re asking the people of Abercarn to come together and help us make a difference. ❤️

🙏 CAN YOU HELP?

If you have anything at all you could donate, please don’t hesitate — every donation, big or small, makes a difference.

🎁 Donations can be dropped off at The Crown or Hairlines.

🎄 Every penny raised will go towards putting up our Christmas lights and bringing some Christmas magic back to our village.

💙 TEDDY’S CHARITY WALK – THIS SATURDAY! 💙
It’s nearly time! This Saturday 5th September we’ll be walking from Caerphilly Castle to The Crown to raise money and awareness for Teddy. 🧸💙
📍 Meeting points:
🏰 9:30am – Caerphilly Castle
🍻 8:45am – The Crown (for anyone meeting us there)
The walk is approximately 15.6km and will take around 4–5 hours. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
🚗 TRANSPORT – PLEASE READ!
We need to get a list of everyone attending so we can make sure we have enough transport to get people from The Crown over to Caerphilly Castle.
👉 If you are attending, please comment below or message us with your name.
👉 If you are able to drive and take people over to the castle, PLEASE message us and let us know how many spaces you have available. This will help us work out whether we have enough cars.
👉 If you are making your own way and will meet us at Caerphilly Castle, please let us know too, so we can keep an accurate list.
💙 We really want to make sure nobody is left without transport, so please let us know even if you’ve already said you’re coming.
And don’t forget your TEDDY TOPS! 🧸👕 Show your support and help us make this a day to remember.
