Wings for life

So, our first little adventure into fundraising, is for a friend whose life was literally flipped upside down, and his life changed for the foreseeable future.
Wings for Life is a charity that Cam brought to our attention, and it uses all of the money to fund research into the possibility of repairing damaged spinal cords.
On the 10th of May 2026, there are several runs organized worldwide, where participants run, roll or walk for those who can’t. Everyone starts at 1pm French time, and has half an hour before the chaser car sets off, once it catches you, your race is over. If you’d like to participate wherever you want, there is an App run which will inform you of the chaser car’s proximity to you.
We leave below the links for if you’d like to join Cam’s team, donate to Wings for Life, and the link to Cam’s gofundme (whether it’s a fixed amount, or a penny per kilometre travelled, any amount will hugely help any of these causes) to help with the equipment and adaptations to living arrangements needed to make the transition as smooth as possible.

I’d like to use my last few days of this site to hopefully help someone who I have truly seen as a brother in the past few years.
Lots of you will know him, but may not be on his insta or be friends on facebook, but, Cam was one of the people I was most asked about.
In his own understated way, he informed me that life had dealt him a curveball….
