Our Story

La Grotte (or 'The Cave') is Serre Chevaliers best apres ski live music bar offering daily entertainment, great food, happy hours and drinks promotions for everyone. Conveniently located in Place de L'Aravet, you can ski straight to our door from the Mickey piste, to be warmly welcomed by our friendly Grotte team. With masses of valley experience and 8 years working in and now owning the La Grotte, the team certainly know how help you make the most of your ski holiday and have a lot of fun! La Grotte offers live music or themed entertainment every night in the bar ranging from Rock, Acoustic, DJ’s, Disco, Open Mic and Guest Bands throughout the winter. We have big screens showing the latest Sky Sports and Terrestrial TV matches, just ask the team if there is a game you need to see. Activities include ping pong, table football, darts, pool tables and bar games. About Us We welcome families to enjoy our homecooked food in our restaurant at very affordable prices from 8.30am - 6pm every day and delicious apres ski bites and sharing platters. Just what you need after a day on the mountain and perfect for breakfast, lunch or apres ski hunger. Come and try our homemade pies, quiches, sausage rolls and scotch eggs! Bar snacks available until 2am. We pride ourselves on our friendly and welcoming team who are on hand to help with any questions you may have about the valley or how to make the most of your ski holiday. Come and say hi!
