Wos Bar Reunion
It’s been 5 years since the Wos closed its doors rue Saint Jacques. After 13 years so full, they seem like a century. Years of joy, celebrations, parties, cocktails, games, Packers, and most of all, love and friendship that last.
There have been different eras at Wos, related to different managers and staffs. Some of you know all of us, some only one, some more but this bar next to the Pantheon connects us all.
Duncan, had this wonderful idea to keep the connection alive by doing a Reunion of all Wos friends. An idea that we all embraced right away!
It will take place during the span of a whole weekend from Friday the 8th of May till Sunday the 10th.
- Friday night : We will start by a proper Wos reunion prom style, dressed to the T at Duncan’s bar, the Black Sheep Society rue Daval.
- Saturday night : Costumed party in a location to be communicated. We have a few theme proposals for you to decide.
- And Sunday lunch-afternoon : a big pic-nic at the Luxembourg garden to finish the weekend with a nice chilled and sunny moment where the parents can also bring their kids to run around as we eat on the grass.
We announce it a long time in advance that all our friends living far from Paris and France can make plans to come. Think of it, it has been a long time you haven’t visited Paris ? Isn’t it time to come back ? on your own or to show Paris and a part of your life to your partner ? Isn’t Paris in May one of the best places to be ?
For the Saturday night party, we propose you to choose the theme from the three classic Wos Parties :
- Back to school party
- Beach party
- Or come in the costume of your favorite themed party you attended at Wos.
Since the bar closed, the connection has been altered by the closing of the bar, of course, but also because one medium we used a lot was gone. The Wos Pierre facebook profile was hacked and with it, a bond was lost with the losing of all the contacts and Wos friends who were in touch with Pierre and the bar. After trying with every possible ways, it was clear that the account was gone for ever.
This is why Pierre disappeared from social media, and some of you were unable to get in touch with him from this point.
It would be long and selective to give news of specific staffs and of course lots happened! Come in May to have all the updates!

On this address, you can tell us if you come (or not) and how many you will be. All parties will be on invitation only, so it’ll be of great help to help organize.
Also, if you come or if you can’t, we would love if you could send us photos which represent your times at Wos with the year and occasion portrayed on the photo, And a photo of you nowadays.
Along the photo, if you want to send us your memories, anecdotes of Wos for you. All those, be them parties, quiz nights, concert,Packers games or just your regular drink at the bar with us.
We will of course prepare a slideshow for the reunion, and will also try to compile a memory book.
Finally, would you want a Tshirt or a memorabilia of the reunion ? If there are enough requests, we will prepare something to remember the occasion.
We are very excited to reunite with you all in Paris in May and hope many of you will be able to come and join us.
