My name is Abdelaziz Cherigui. I am born in Algeria and I moved to France at the age of one year ...
So I lived all my life and my schooling in France…
I started martial arts at the age of 11 years by the Judo and ju-jitsu in France in 1975 , then in 1979 I started a boxing, and in 1980 I started shotokan karate , I practice these three sports simultaneously every night of the week, after my classes at school .
In college , I was part of the school sports section ( UNSS ) I was champion in wrestling , judo and boxing French .
In 1986 I went to Japan to train me Karate with Master Kanazawa, and the School of the JKA, and Judo
My levels in combat sports and martial arts was very good, I won a lot of competition in judo, I had an international level, I broke the world junior champion vice . In karate and boxing American I win competitions and regional and national championships, I was the winner of the Cup of France full contact kickboxing .
My passion and love for martial arts, my naturally lead right to the most efficient in the world currently combat sport : Brazilian jiu -jitsu .
It is November 19, 1995 that I started « Gracie jiu- jitsu » in France by a seminar with Rickson Gracie, it upsets me and questioned my entire analise martial arts. Three months later, in February 1996 , by I in Brazil to participate in the first World Championships of Jiu- jitsu ( visible on youtube ), i win bronze medal in Adult -61 kg , brown belt . Carlos Gracie allows us to lead us to his home , that's how I'm fit into the school , " Gracie Barra " ( in 1996, first world championship, i Thanks to my high level judo, sambo and wrestling , I got the bronze medal in finalizing brown belt , American and Brazilian) ...
I REALLY took concience of the specificity of jiu- jitsu judo Hours of Operation , and this is my own initiative that I asked to wear a white belt and learn everything from the base. I go every year to brazil to improve my internship , sometimes twice a year , I have sent my family , wife and children for all trains . It is gradually I 'm switching blue , purple, brown and finally black belt June 19, 2003 in Gracie Barra has the same hands of Carlos Gracie Jr., assisted by Martio Feitosa .
I'm french and even the first European black belt under Carlos Gracie jr.
This is in agreement with Carlos Gracie and cbjjf that I created in France the " French Confederation of Brazilian Jiu -Jitsu "
I was the first president of the CFJJB in 2004 and 2005. ( Conferation Francaise de Jiu-Jitsu Brsilien).
Thanks to my working president , I organize all the basic jiu -jitsu in France , organizing competitions , set up a school to train future teachers , I ensure all practitioners in France , and more ...
- My qualities of coaching and pedagogy, my success to make many of my students obtain titles of champions of Europe and the world, and i gave 5 Black Belt to my students
- since August 15, 2017, National Head of Coach at SAUDI JUDO & JIU-JITSU FDERATION
Currently :
1- National Headcoach in Saudi Arabia since August 10, 2017. Although my job title is National Coach, the job title is National Technical Director.
I set up;
- a technical program for each grade and age.
- A seasonal training program, for clubs in preparation for a high level preparation in ne-waza
- a specific program for the high level
- the first regional and national competitions, in order to establish a ranking with a view to setting up a first representative national team.
- establishment of a federal organization chart
- implementation of a sports calendar including competitions, seminar, internship and referee training
- establishment of a program to open a two-level teacher training structure
