🍗🥚🧀🌶Tsukune【鶏つくね串】: Serving these since 2019! Fluffy chicken meat ball skewers. The dish itself is a golden izakaya staple dish, so each shop makes an effort to put their own philosophy in it.

Our version is with yuzu koshō and parmigiano reggiano. Break the eggyolk and enjoy it as sauce! We found a perfect sake pairing for this dish, so feel free to ask for sake recommendations from our staff❤️

What the best thing about Uusi Sauna is that there is of course a super amazing sauna, a good sized kitchen that we can cook any comfort izakaya food such as karaage, a spacious dining room, and a good bar with lots of delicious draft beer!!
You can take a sauna before / during / after the dinner, if you like, too! Izakaya and sauna, it's the ultimate dream collab of Finland and Japan!?

The dining space is very spacious, so even a group of 10 easily fits. Families with small kids are, of course, very welcome too🩷

It was an absolute pleasure to stand in the kitchen and work with genuinely amazing people at our favorite place❤️

Thank you for all who came to have fun with us! We wanted to offer you these laid-back vibes that both Italian local trattoria and Japanese local izakaya have. Cozy, spontaneous, having season focused delicious dishes, and the warmth that makes people feel that they belonged.

Thank you, Henna, Imanol, and Giovanni to show us the true professionalism! You guys are rock 'n' roll! It was truly an honor to work with you three on a busy Tuesday! Paras ikinä! Super fun!! 🎷🎯

Thank you for providing us the seasonal and beautiful organic veggies, thank you for the fresh and delicious fish, and thank you for the perfect fresh pasta!

Friends, good food, nice wine, happy vibes, --- what else do we need in life? ☺️

What a fun night!! ✨️✨️✨️

Our friend and sensei of came to our tiny Izakaya and took Kruununhaka by storm with his positive vibes and super delicious food! Crudo, pasta, yakitori... everything, even the legendary midnight staff food was fantastic!

Those who came to the pop-up, thank you for coming to share the lovely moments with us. Spontaneous, whimsical, magical, full of love, and filled with lots of laughter - we enjoyed the every moment with you💕

Those who missed it, don't worry! We are going to come to Pinocchio on the 7.7 on Tuesday and redo the fun evening once again! This time, the theme will be Japanese-Italian dishes that work with special wine of Pinocchio! See you in Ullanlinna next Tuesday! 🍷🥢

Hiyashi Tantanmen (冷やし担々麺 : cold noodles with spicy miso pork and sesame & soy milk sauce) is back🌞💕👌

We have been serving this dish almots every summer, but this one is version 2.0🌱 There is a vegan option, too. Spicy & creamy, fresh, and tasty!! Enjoy it with beer or sake or highball, or all of them! 😉

We will bring back this summer staple dish - Hiyashi Oden【冷やしおでん】, juicy summer veggies simmered in chilled konbu dashi. Very fresh, very flavorful, and so cool❤️ Eating summer veggies in summer is self-love & earth-love. And this dish works perfectly well with cool sake😎

We need more pop-ups like this! Italy ✖️ Japan = Matchmade in heaven!

On 29.6, our beloved Giovanni ®️) of Pinocchio will turn himself into an Italian mamma and spread big love on your tables at Sake Bar & Izakaya. Do you know his love language? Food❤️

We share the same love and similar philosophy in Japan. Vast varieties of high-quality ingredients with the respect for seasonality and locality, simple but bold ex*****on with humble but remarkable culinary techniques.

We will combine our two cultures and cook something truly delicious and special. Everything is honest and whimsical, just like our Giovanni!

Also, in Japan, it's not rare to see recently that young people drinking sake with snacks made with a twist of Italian cuisine. Prosciutto and gorgonzola, olives and sun dried tomato... in fact, countless numbers of sake bars and izakayas in Japan offer dishes with Italian ingredients to pair with sake. Just like what we Sake Bar & Izakaya have been doing almost 5 years.
