Whip It - Helsinki Helsinki's premier post punk party... With an across-the-board music taste these three Brits have decided to settle somewhere in the middle for their new night.

Rody Maher, Gareth Hayes and Justin Steele have long been devoted to the cause of spreading the word on good music to anyone who might listen. With Gareth's 'Bang Shang A-Lang' radio show on Basso Radio, Rody's regular Rock N Roll/Garage Punk/Rhythm & Blues DJ slots at Bar Loose and Navy Jerry's, and Justin's nights at Heavenly Records' London venue 'The Social' (and management of Soho record shop

Selectadisc/Sister Ray) they've been working hard establishing credentials as reliable purveyors of fine quality music. Using post-punk as a reliable jump-off point, 'Whip It!' aims to inject a new, potent musical mix into Saturday nights in Helsinki - playing the best in post-punk, new-wave, no-wave, art-rock, krautrock, disco, punk-funk, garage, early hip hop, house and much much more. It's an 'anything goes' music policy - just good music to dance to, old and new...
