Kämp Bar’s so-called “Lemon Table” refers to a group of notable regulars from the early 1900s who had a particular fondness for lemon.

Wealthy businessman John Grönlund believed that lemon not only made drinks more refreshing, but also added a healthy boost of vitamin C. Naturally, this meant one could enjoy a few more.

He was so convinced of lemon’s benefits that he kept his own lemon squeezer at the table — and over time, his company became known as the Lemon Table.

Today, our Lemon & Punsch signature cocktail pays homage to this tradition.
