100 Dogs SH*TTY DRINKS, BAD SERVICE, AVERAGE FOOD. The concept then was to serve only 100 hot dogs per day with a Texas hillbilly theme.

Let's go back a few years to 2012.
100 Dogs & Bourbon pop-up opened to Unioninkatu and was the first hot dog restaurant in Helsinki. Now we've opened again with new inspiration retrieved from Shinjuku Golden G*i Tokyo, Japan. Laid back neighborhood bars, cheap street food and beverages, neon signs and hectic pace every night. From Shinjuku Golden G*i we wanted to bring in the "Dive Bar" culture (a fancy word for neighborhood bar). Un a 1961 dictionary defined a "dive" as "a disreputable resort for drinking or entertainment". As a dive bar, we like to serve snacks on the side of the cocktails. Hot dogs are still served with the same methods as in Unioninkatu, with some minor Asian influences. Tsukemonos (Japanese pickled vegetables), savory hot dogs, affordable cocktails and beer.
