Oi mate, we are hiring!

We are looking for a new mate to join our team from the start of August.

What we expect from you:
- at least 2 years of experience in hospitality

- open to work in various positions at the bar, our bartenders make and serve food as well as serve tables and shake cocktails

- Mate = Team, we work as a team no room for egos

- a genuine good person

What we are offering you:
- 30hrs/week with the possibility of full time 37,5hrs/week on average

- work from August until end of January (or longer)

- training across the board, we rotate our roles

- hourly rates of 13,5€-15,5€ (plus extras) or monthly salary of 2400-2700€ (incl.extras)

- a place where to grow as a bartender and a leader, we root for open communication and transparency

Hey mates we got a special weekend ahead of us!

Today we open at 21.30 due to a private function.

Tomorrow Saturday we kickstart our 2 year birthday hullabaloo 🥳

Doors open at 16:00 and our dear friend Dj Zeke will play vinyls from 21-01, treating us with good birthday vibes.

Sunday 9th of June is our official 2 year anniversary, the day we opened our doors for the first time and welcomed our mates to our loft 🎂

JOB ADVERT! BARTENDER 0-20h/week, 15-17€/hr+extras!

Bar Mate is looking for a bartender/hospitalian alike! We are looking to fill a positions of a weekend warrior with 0-20 hours per week with a salary of 15-17€/hr + extras, possibly some shifts during the week as well. Eventually we are hoping to be able to offer full time position for the right candidate. The job involves all aspects of the bar from bartending and simple kitchen service to food and cocktail prep and menu designing together with the team. 🍸

We are looking for someone with passion, compassion and consistency, willing to uphold agreed standards and receive feedback. ✔️

Our goal is to become a self-organized venue, enabling us to be agile and to thrive through the complex journey that's ahead of us. We have roles instead of titles, leaving us room for productivity over trivial games. games. 🌱

We are hoping to get to know you and have a trial shift during April/May and hopefully fill the position with the right mate in May. But don't worry, you will have the Midsummer holiday💥
