Who are you?
-I’m Mico. I’m a singer and songwriter, and I make music under the name Edicti.
Which meme are you?
-Probably the “Reject Modernity, Embrace Tradition” meme – mine would say Reject Modernity: memes, Embrace Tradition: dad jokes.
What is your best summer festival memory?
-Last year’s Ö fest. I had an “Edicti and friends” gig there, and it was the first show after which I cried from happiness and relief.
What’s the weirdest thing you have in your bag today?
-Nothing weird in my bag, just lip balm and perfume – but I do have a super ball in my pocket.
Who do you admire?
-Most of all my mom, for her gentleness and strength. Also my dad for his craftsmanship and humility, and my friend/producer Okko for his ability to juggle everything.
What’s your best life-hack?
-If I haven’t finished a task, I’ll book a laundry slot. That one hour while washing usually gets the task done – or at least the laundry.
What gets you in a creative mood?
-Walking home at night listening to music, sometimes singing along. Creativity also needs good sleep, food, and inspiring people around me.
