A pub made with taste. A pub created to feel homely. A place to connect.
I already had a love for things “old worldly” - antiques, mirrors things that take me to another place, another time. Inspired by wonderful memories at my grandparents home, with references to my uncle Tommy’s love of grandfather clocks and the stags head in their kitchen. Everything means something to us.
A trip to Madrid, stumbling upon a café filled with antiques gave me the confidence to recreate a little piece of my memories in the centre of Tarragona.
Kudos to my partner for helping me design it. Kudos to Sean for making it the special place it is.
Because design is easy - it’s the people and the connections that make the place come alive.

We have live music this Friday night. Some of you know that Clive, from our house band Speed River, is going homeless for 12 months to raise awareness for homelessness whilst travelling around Catalonia playing small gigs. This concert is free but we ask for you to please consume food/drink. You will have the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution to Clive’s cause after the concert.
