𝘾𝙃𝙐𝙍𝙍𝙊𝙎...𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢? 😂🍩

We’re up in Mancha Blanca for the Fiestas de Los Dolores, and of course we couldn’t resist a freshly made portion of churros!

Have you ever actually watched churros being made? 👀

They’re made fresh on the stall, then you can have the traditional ones covered in sugar… or go for the bigger ones filled with Nutella. 😋

We stuck with the traditional ones — and honestly, they taste a bit like a hot, crispy doughnut!

And if you are in Lanzarote tomorrow night, Malú is taking to the stage in Mancha Blanca at 9pm, for the final night of the Fiestas de Los Dolores. She’s one of Spain’s best-known female pop artists, with nearly 30 years in the music business. 🎤🇪🇸

There’s also fairground rides, food stalls, drinks and plenty going on — a great chance to experience a bit of Spanish fiesta culture. 🇪🇸

But first… CHURROS! 😂

🍰𝗖𝗔𝗞𝗘 - 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗔𝗞𝗘🍰

Its Monday Morning and Ive woken up thinking if cake and apparently, today is National Cream-Filled Donut Day… so obviously that’s given me an excuse to finally ask the question! 😂🍩

When you fancy a proper piece of cake in Lanzarote, where do you go?

I’m talking carrot cake, chocolate cake, pastries, donuts… proper cake!

Not a dessert. Not cheesecake. Not Tiramisu. 😂

I don’t have cake that often, but when I fancy a treat, I want to know where to go for the good stuff!

So come on…
Where’s your favourite place for a piece of cake and a coffee? ☕️🍰

It’s a bit blustery down on the front today, but don’t let the wind fool you — it’s still lovely and warm!

🌡️ Today: around 31°C
☀️ Sunday: around 30°C
🔥 Monday: around 33°C
🔥 Tuesday: around 35°C

Then it looks like temperatures ease back slightly from Wednesday.

So if you’re here now, or coming out soon… pack the sun cream! 😂☀️

❤️ 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥! ✈️🇪🇸

We first met these two lovely people back in 2024, when they used to come into the bar we owned in Puerto Del Carmen in Lanzarote.

Fast forward to me becoming a travel advisor and Paul basically saying, “Hang on… we know Emma. We know Huse. We trust them. Let’s see what they can find us!” 😄

Well… they obviously feel comfortable in letting me help them organise their holidays as this is now their second holiday with me this year, and they’ve already got holidays number 3 and 4 booked for next year! 🥰

I think it’s fair to say they’re stuck with me now! 😂

They know me, they know Huse, they know we’re here on the island and, most importantly, they know they can trust us to 'try' and get things right. ❤️😂🤦🏼‍♀️

They tell me they wouldn’t book their Lanzarote holidays through anyone else — and honestly, that means so much. ❤️

They head home tomorrow, so Paul & Pam, have a safe journey home and thank you for trusting me with your holidays. ❤️

Although, with their new fabulous little bar at home, I’m beginning to think half of this trip has been “research” for their drinks cupboard! 😂🍹

🚨𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿? 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹! 😅

There’s an easier way… 👀

Huse is going to show you a little route that can save you from tackling the climb up towards the Biosfera — and it takes you right through to the harbour and those beautiful cliff-top views.

There is one small hill on this route, so we’re not going to pretend it’s completely flat! 😂 But it’s still a much easier option than heading up the main hill and then winding your way back down through the Old Town.

From the Fariones Hotel area, Huse gets there in around 10 minutes.

So stay with him, follow the route and wait until you see that view at the end… 🌊☀️

And once you're there, you've got plenty of lovely places to eat too — from Canarian and Spanish restaurants to Italian favourites like Dolce Vita.

☀️𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗕𝗘𝗗 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗦… 𝗜 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣!☀️

One of the questions I get asked when people are choosing their accommodation is:

“Does this hotel have problems getting a sunbed?”

As much as I do have a very good idea of what the complexes are like, I haven't stayed in them all personally. I’m a travel advisor, not a professional hotel sleeper. 😂
(Yet...Im working on it though!l

So this is where you come in…

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀, 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱:
