What a way to finish. Unbelievable from Katie Taylor yet again, winning her final ever fight at Croke Park and becoming a three-time undisputed world champion. What an incredible career and what an unbelievable amount of entertainment she has given us over the years. We’ve enjoyed every minute of it and it’s genuinely sad to think that it’s all over now. But where better to finish than in front of your own people at Croke Park? Fair play to everyone involved for finally making this happen, and fair play to Eddie Hearn and Matchroom because the whole show looked absolutely top class. The music, the fireworks, the atmosphere, everything about it looked special and I really wish I was there. Thanks for all the memories, Katie. One of the greatest sportspeople this country has ever produced. Now go and enjoy your retirement, you’ve earned it. 🇮🇪

Today’s lineup at the legendary Bar 67, Lanzarote’s most authentic Irish bar. We’re open from 12 and there are loads of games on throughout the day, so if there’s anything you want to watch just ask and we’ll get it on for you. We’ll definitely be showing St Patrick’s Athletic versus Bohemians, then later on we’ve got one of the best lineups we’ve ever had at Bar 67. The Lonesome Boatman will be live before the football, then at 8pm it’s St Mirren versus Celtic, followed by the main event in the boxing, Katie Taylor’s last ever fight live from Croke Park. And to top the whole night off, the legendary rebel singer Eimhear Ní Ghlacaín will be finishing things off for us. What an unbelievable day we have ahead. Food available all day, and I’d definitely recommend getting down early if you’re coming for the Celtic match or the boxing because it’s going to be a busy one.

Picked up this absolutely amazing jacket online a couple of years back, second-hand obviously, and one thing I’ve always wondered about is the initials on it, DM. Whose initials were they actually? Was this maybe a jacket that belonged to one of the coaching staff at some stage, or was it simply a fan who had his own initials put on it before I ended up with it? I genuinely have no idea, but it’s always had me wondering. Anyone recognise it or have any idea who the original DM might have been?
