Last night the curtain came down on another wonderful summer at El Piano. After months of music, laughter and some fabulous nights together, it’s time for us to take a little breather!

A huge thank you to everyone who shared our little stage this season. Your talent, warmth and generosity have given us so many moments to remember, and it’s been a joy to welcome both familiar faces and new friends. Thank you to Víctor Arbelo, Mary Mac, Myra DuBois, James Cave, Christina Bianco, Su Pollard!, Dolly Diamond, Conleth Kane, Alison Jiear, Tom Self, Marty Thomas, Tori Scott, Rob Bowden King, Pearl Dean, Mark Guest, Ceri Dupree and Trevor Ashley.

A special thank you to our wonderful barman Michael, who has been an absolute dream to work with this season and such a joy to have behind the bar. Thank you for all your hard work, kindness and good humour. We’ve loved having you with us!

But our biggest thank you is to YOU, our customers, our friends, our El Piano family. Whether you’ve been coming for years or found us for the first time this Summer, you’ve helped shape El Piano into the place it is today. You’ve filled this little bar with laughter, friendship and love, and given us a reason to keep opening the doors year after year. We’re nothing without you, and we never take your support for granted.

Next year we celebrate our 25th anniversary. It’s quite something to think that what we started all those years ago has become such a big part of our lives and, we hope, a small but special part of yours. We simply wouldn’t have reached this milestone without you. Thank you for being part of our story.

Until we see you again, whether that's in a few weeks or next Summer, take care of each other, and we’ll see you all again very soon.

With love and thanks,
Stephen & Björn ###
