From a sleepy fishing cove to a vibrant beach resort, Cala Llonga has seen Ibiza’s transformation up close.

Decades ago, this wide bay was framed by untouched pine forests and a few fishermen’s huts. Locals came here by donkey or small boats to swim and gather sea salt from the shore. There were no hotels, no beach bars — just turquoise waters and the echo of waves between the cliffs.
