I am sad to say that Gerry Peri's is closed permanently. It was impossible to continue under the circumstances as the husband of our landlord (the contract not even in his name!)constantly harassed my staff and I to the point that it affected my health and sanity. After spending time and a lot of money on fully equipping the restaurant from scratch, (plumbing/electrics, kitchen equipment, furniture, alarms, P.O.S system etc, etc! Purchasing licenses for the restaurant / bar. He then denounced me! He said I wasn't paying my rent, which I was directly through the bank to cover HIS tax bill, as instructed by my hestor. He then illegally padlocked the premises to deny us access and systematically removed all our equipment from the restaurant. (Thanks god our cameras recorded it). We have now heard he has done this to other people. After contacting the guardia civil, they told us it was a civil matter and we have since then got ourselves a top lawyer to deal with this. The effect this has had on my health is unbelievable and wouldn't wish this on anyone. Let's hope for a great 2017 and that Karma and justice will prevail 🙏
