Today we went for Sunday lunch at one of our old favourites from when we lived in Newcastle— Fratelli in Ponteland—and it certainly didn’t disappoint! 😍

All eight of us chose the two-course Sunday lunch special. For starters, we had prawn cocktails and pâté, followed by a mixture of beef, chicken and lamb dinners.

I didn’t manage to get a photo of the chicken because Millie had already tucked into hers! 😂 I also missed the vegetables, as the service was a little slow and they arrived after our dinners. We had to request some extra gravy too, but the food itself was absolutely amazing.

⭐ Food: 10/10
⭐ Service: 8/10

The total, including drinks and the service charge already added to the bill, worked out at around £30 per person for eight of us. Great food and lovely to return to an old favourite! ❤️

Now it’s time for our flight back home to Tenerife! ✈️☀️
