What a fantastic effort by everybody connected with the La Gamba annual charity quiz
. Last night we held a Charity Quiz night,l where, all the La Gamba takings , less only staff wages, were donated to PAD Animal Shelter.
Thank you to Phyl & her hard working staff for the superb food & service.
Also to Elliot for sorting out the sound problem for us & Pete Melling for helping Darrell with the Quiz.
To all Companies who donated vouchers. Figaro, La Pergola. Fabric Boutiques Spain , Johnny's Restaurant, Bridges Bar, The Terrace Calahonda, Bar 97, Passiflora Florist, David Bibby , Carol Ratcliffe, Snack Attack@, Bar Tuta, Sol Bar & Bistro, Ricky Bryce & Glass the Label.
And to Russell and Mel Read for the generous first prize of 100 euros cash.

A reminder that tonight (Saturday)we are a closed shop , due to our annual quiz where we donate all our takings to charity .
We are open as normal during the day.

If you would like to make a donation to this worthwhile cause , PADS animal rescue, please let us know and we will arrange collection.

If you wish to buy raffle tickets for the grand raffle, please let us know.

If you are a local business and are able to offer a prize for the raffle , please do.
We have had some very generous donations, a full list will be published soon, and we urge people to visit these businesses that kindly offer their support after what has been an awful winter.

The annual Gamba charity quiz will take place on the 21st February this year.
We will be open for normal service on the evening, and all the takings will go to PADS animal charity. Minus staff wages.

When you book you will be asked to pay 20 euros a person, this will be offset against each persons bill.
This is simply to ensure someone doesn’t just nurse a drink all night, which will not allow us to maximise our donation to PADS.

Due to the table layout teams are limited to a maximum of 4 people. Sorry.

If any businesses or people would like to offer vouchers or objects as raffle prizes we would be grateful , and the owners also promise to spend, at least , the value of your donation in your business.

Last year we raised over 3000 euros, let’s see if we can improve on that.
