With the severe weather warning ⚠️in place today, and with everyones safety our top priority (staff and clients) we have decided to open on reduced hours today Wed 4th Feb. The Blarney, La Cala de Mijas will open at 10am and close at 7pm. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Good morning all, sorry to announce we will be closing early again tonight (Tueaday 30th) @ 8pm. Unfortunately due to holidays, illness and personal cirumstances, we are very short staffed. We want to keep our high service levels, which sometimes is just impossible (apologies to anyone here this morning who may have experienced our poorer than normal service, we really were trying our best in last minute circumstances and really appreciate all your understanding) ❤️🙏

We will be open tomorrow 9am-5pm.

Following on from posting our festive hours, just to let everyone know there will be NO Rock n Roll Bingo this Thursday 18th as our very own celebrity Jöhñ Šhârpléƨ is starring in this year's Xmas Pantomime (oh no he's not! 🙈🤣) at Salon Varieties in Fuengirola. QUIZ will take place as normal on Monday 22nd and Monday 29th at 2pm/Rock n Roll Bingo at 8pm and then the next QUIZ/Rock n Roll will take place on Monday 5th Jan evening (time tbc).

KARAOKE with Jason as normal this Friday 19th Dec at 9pm and then Friday 9th Jan at 9pm.

FRIDAY 21ST NOVEMBER

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that tomorrow, Friday 21st November 2025, we will say goodbye to our dear friend Lee (Ted) Armstrong 😢💔

Lee's funeral will take place at the crematorium at 12 noon, then all friends and family are invited to join the celebration of Lee's life back in the Blarney.

For this reason, our normal kitchen will only be open from 9am - 12.30pm. The bar will remain open as usual.

From all of us at The Blarney, La Cala de Mijas, we are going to miss you so much Lee 😢 you were always a pleasure to be around, loved by everyone🥰 We send all our love to your mum, dad, sister, children and all the extended family 💞 RIP Lee xx
