Jerez took centre stage at London Wine Fair with the masterclass “Jerez, The Land of Double Terroir”, led by César Saldaña , President of the Sherry Wine Council.

The session explored the diversity of the region, delving into the idea of “double terroir” through pagos, ageing styles, and the role of the towns where the bodegas are based.

The tasting featured the following wines:

Amontillado Napoleón -
Palo Cortado Leonor -

After flowering, the vine enters one of its most crucial stages: fruit set.

Those tiny clusters you see now will become the grapes that shape the wines of Jerez.

In the Marco de Jerez, everything depends on three forces:

☀️ Sunlight, driving the fruit’s development
🌬️ Levante winds, balancing humidity and protecting the vine
🤍 Albariza soil, storing water and releasing it slowly

What happens in the vineyard now will echo in the glass later.
