Tucked away at the back of Gallerias Mar Vista Mar (opposite MacDonalds) in Palmanova, 'Jo’s Rib Shack' offers a taste of Louisiana, USA, in sunny Mallorca. With a small tasty menu on offer each dish has been carefully selected and shaped by the owners’ travels, particularly in New Orleans, truly giving their menu that soul food flavour. After years of perfecting their BBQ recipes, their signature dish of succulent marinated baby back ribs heads the Shack menu, so they’re definitely worth a try. But, if ribs aren’t your thing, they’ve got plenty other delicious dishes to choose from. The restaurant was previously known as “Seymour’s” and after a hard renovation job, Dave and Julie really have turned Jo’s Rib Shack into a small slice of New Orleans; a city famous for its vibrant cuisine and music. Their beautiful sun terrace, surrounded by aged olive trees is a great place to sip a few beers of an evening. The bar’s ambiance is perfectly in keeping with the music, especially when Mr Rib Shack takes the stage as the in house piano player!
