Important Update Regarding Tony Monks’ Funeral & Celebration of Life

Please note that the funeral service time has now changed and will take place at 10:00am on Thursday 14th at the Tanatorio Crematorio La Axarquía.

Afterwards, everyone is warmly invited to join us at the Pavo Real for a Celebration of Tony’s Life with live music, buffet, drinks, memories and laughter — just as Tony would have wanted.

Everyone is welcome to both.

As mentioned before, Tony wouldn’t want a day of darkness, so please do not wear black — wear lots of colour instead.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend, Tony Monks.

Tony was a huge part of so many people’s lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His warmth, humour, friendship and unforgettable spirit touched this whole community.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday 14th at 10am at the Tanatorio Crematorio La Axarquía.

Afterwards, we invite everyone to join us at the Pavo Real from approximately 12:30/1:00pm for a Celebration of Tony’s Life.

There will be live music, a buffet, and a chance for everyone to come together, share memories, raise a glass, and celebrate the wonderful person Tony was.

Everyone is welcome to both.

Tony wouldn’t want a day of darkness, so the only request is:
Please do not wear black — wear lots of colour instead.

Tony’s family have asked if everyone could post one word in the comments to describe Tony. We’ll start it off with:

Awesome.

Rest easy Tony. You will never be forgotten.

After a 6-week break, our Sunday roast dinners return on Sunday 5th April.

Serving from 1:30pm with roast beef or rotisserie chicken, plus lamb available by preorder (please order by 2nd April).
