From today until we close it will be All Day Happy Hours at The Thistle. All standard drinks 3€ all pop 2€, pints 3€. Bottles 3€ Cans 3€ (premium cans 3.50€}.

Well folks just want to tell you all that once again we have fallen victim to a greedy landlord, weve had a tough couple of years as a reslut our landlord has decided not to re-new our lease and has given us the mandatory 90 days notice to quit the premises. Myself and Karen opened The Thistle Bar nine years ago, it’s been an absolute blast with lots of highs and lows, we had laughs and tears, met lots of amazing people who became good friends.

I can’t thank you all enough for your support over the nine years. The bar gave us our livelyhood and increased our family ten fold all of you have became good friends which we are so thankful for.

The bar will be close end of November. The landlord has put the entire building up for sale so no more bar at our venue.

Anyway before you all ask No we are not staying in Benidorm weve opted to return to Scotland where Karen can get more help with her health.

We have Three Pets Kara our Doggie which many of you have met and our Two cats Chico and Chica we have been quoted in excess of 2500 euro for their transport back to th UK, this is money we dont just have and its with heavy heart that I ask our friends to HELP we have setup a go fund me page in the hope we can get some donations towards their travel costs. I Thank any of you in advance for any donation given our pets are our family and WE ARE NOT LEAVING THEM BEHIND.

THANK YOU for your support and kindness throughout the years it’s been a blast from start finish lots of love and big hugs to you all.
