Well folks just want to tell you all that I am retiring at long last! Janice and I bought the Welcome bar eight years ago because we were bored with nothing to do, it’s been an absolute blast with lots of highs and lows along the way, we had laughs and tears, met lots of amazing people who became good friends. It’s been hard for me since Janice passed away it’s not been the same without her as you all know.
So I’ve decided to stop and retire AGAIN!! And I won’t be bored this time.
I can’t thank you all enough for your support throughout the eight years and because of the bar you have all became good friends which I am so thankful for.
Anyway tomorrow Thursday 20/8 come in for a last drink we are there from 3-7, I’m doing this tomorrow because it would be Janice’s 65th birthday so it’s the right day to do it.
Welcome bar will be closed the till September when the new owners take over and I hope you will all still give them the support you gave me and I wish them all the best for the future.
Darren and Nicole will still be there so you will still see their friendly faces.
I just want to thank the friends who worked alongside me all the years Lynne Beard, Eddie Concannon, Nicole and of course Darren Caffrey I could never have had any better people around to help out.
Anyway before you all ask yes I’m staying in Benidorm I’m not going anywhere so I will still be around town so I can have a drink with you it will be nice to be able to do that instead of working.
But seriously THANK YOU all so much for your support and kindness throughout the years it’s been a rollercoaster ride from start to finish so from me and Janice thank you again and lots of love and big hugs to you all ❤️❤️❤️######
