NEW ARTIST ANNOUNCED!

SEI A

Sei A – born Andy Graham - moved from his native Glasgow to his adopted London just a year ago. Since then, though, he has been immersed in the hybrid house, firm techno and bass-heavy scenes that happily co-exist within the capital. Naturally, then, he has widened his already impressive sonic remit as a result.

Despite having two solid LPs to his name (on French outlet Missive Music and Tiga's Turbo) Sei A is not someone to have been gobbled up by the hype machine. Instead, his music operates outside the normal lines, with fans and critical acclaim coming in from many different directions. That’s no surprise really, given that the man initially explored sturdy tech house, but is now much more at home painting vivid and emotional sonic pictures that touch on rather more considered house and bass

To celebrate 5 years of their residency at Berghain / Panorama Bar, Berlin's most exciting and adventurous electronic party comes to Barcelona in a big way on 13th June. Known for pushing the more edgey side of electronic dance music they bring a selection of the hottest new talent to have surfaced over the past few years. Spanning 2 stages they bring some UK flavors in the shape of Warp Record's hero Rustie and London house master Mosca. Making a very rare appearance is Jacques Greene - one of the most interesting rising stars of the house world with his RnB infused jams gaining attention worldwide. The super group JETS (aka Jimmy Edgar & Machinedrum) make a welcome return to Barcelona this time performing their new live set. The electronic legend Jon Hopkins will perform his new live set as he prepares to release his stunning new album 'Immunity' in June. Ninja Tune's bass queen Emika will be performing her new live songs - also preparing to release her amazing new album 'DVA' in June. Ninja Tune's hottest new signing Letherette who have just dropped their debut album will bring their summer sample house styles to the outdoor stage, joined by the Finnish partymaster Teeth, rising dusty house star Gerry Read and new Leisure System signing Hubie Davison. Leisure System residents Puzzle & N>E>D will be dropping some new jams that are set for release on the label this summer. With all the mayhem that is Sonar and its off parties, this is the one not to miss!
