We found this little guy being almost pecked to death by other pigeons in front of the bar yesterday. Took him home and discovered that it had its feet covered in dried cement and a big open wound under its wing/armpit (wingpit?). It can move the wing, but it can't fly. We gave it a bath today, got all the cement off, and treated the wound with hydrogen peroxide and iodine. It's eating well and definitely has a fighting spirit.

Would any of you guys happen to know a vet treating birds in Gracia? Ideally someone who won't just try to charge us 50€ to euthanize it. Or even better, do you know anyone who rehabilitates birds? We're not really the ideal foster home since we have 3 curious kids and 2 even more curious (and bird-chasing) dogs...
