Hands up, who can't be bothered shopping for food, doing all that annoying prep work, cooking and then washing up all those pots and pans and plates? Well if that's you, then why bother when you've got us... Just sit back, relax with a drink and let us do the rest.

Today is our FISH N CHIP SPECIAL. For €7.95 you can enjoy fish and chips with garden peas, mushy peas, coleslaw, curry sauce etc for this Wednesday only at a reduced price. Full menu is also available all day until 7.30pm

We're a bit worried here at the dog..what is this breeze in the air? Why are we not sweating with every movement, why can we breathe when we go outside?? Very strange...

Anyway, here at the Dog & Firkin we try to stay as normal as possible. Friday is traditionally fish n chips day so that's what you can expect. B**r battered cod, proper hand cut chips and a choice of many different sides, full menu also available until 7.30pm

Nice turn out this morning for our Spanish Club hosted by Sam. If youd like to join then come down every Friday at 10:15am for an hour to improve your Spanish. €5 gets you learning Spanish at your own pace with friendly people to help you along the way.

Also today we've got our Slimming Club hosted by Nikki, from 1pm you can discuss all things HEALTH...from tailored meal prep to ideas about new foods you may not have thought of. Nikki will guide you along the way in whatever you want to achieve

Fish n chips FryDay here at the Dog & Firkin from 12pm. Enjoy the most delicious, crispy b**r battered Cod and freshly hand-cut chips, why not add mushy peas, curry sauce or coleslaw. We have our full normal menu available all day until 7.30pm.

While you're down here, talk to our staff about our Sunday Roast. We do have tables still available but we advise to book as we do get full.
