We would just like to thank each and every one of you who have commented, messaged or called us after our sad announcement yesterday. We are totally overwhelmed and are sorry that we cannot reply to you all individually. Many of your kind words moved us to tears. For those who have asked, yes we are most definitely staying in Spain, as this is our home. Once again we thank you all. ❤️

It is with a very heavy heart that we sadly announce the immediate closure of The Queen Victoria Bar.
We tried in vain to continue trading after Covid ravaged our business but the time has come to say enough is enough.
During the past 8 and a half years we have met some wonderful people, many of whom we now class as friends, and sincerely hope we keep that friendship for many years to come.
To our loyal customers and friends, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support that you gave us and we will miss you all dearly.
We'll see you on the other side of the bar, somewhere soon, and look forward to you buying us a drink! 😁

The Queen Victoria Bar will be closed on Tuesday morning to enable us to pay our respects to our dearly loved friend Barry Yates. The bar will open from 2pm.

Unfortunately last night we lost a Queen Vic regular and Cabo Roig stalwart Barry Yates he had put up such a brave fight over the last 7 weeks in hospital. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him and came into contact with him during his 22 years in Cabo Roig. RIP Barry.

Monday 1st March we will be open from 10am till 6pm.

Come along and enjoy the best breakfast on the coast, or maybe you prefer a toastie, burger, or one of our delicious home made main meals. Kitchen open daily from 10am.

Hopefully the sun will be shining and we can welcome you back to our sunny terrace.

The bar has been deep cleaned throughout whilst we have been closed, and we will continue to adhere to all regulations, have sanitiser available and ensure that all social distancing guidelines are met.

We look forward to welcoming all customers back, both old and new.

Unfortunately the extension of restrictions has delayed the reopening until at least the 1st of March 2021 ... nearly a year now since the Pandemic struck.....

But as soon as we can, The Queen Vic will be open again with a warm welcome for all our customers.
We miss you all and look forward to hopefully welcoming you back soon. Stay safe all.
