Tottys, an English Cafe and Bar, is your friendly slice of England where good food, great company and a warm welcome are always on the menu. No TVs, no loud music, just a place to eat, meet, drink and connect with others. Drop by for a simple, hearty homemade lunch, a proper pint (we’ve got Guinness on tap), and on Sundays we offer a traditional Tottys Sunday roast. We also serve Tottys Afternoon

Teas, with china tea cups, sandwiches, a selection of cakes and scones with clotted cream and jam. You’ll find us on Plaza Don Carlos, just minutes from the tram.

After a lot of thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to step away from Tottys due to a re-emergence of the same health challenges that informed our original decision to close.

Tottys has always been about good homemade food, a warm welcome and connections, and what started in the height of lockdown (2020) as something for the community, has become a community in itself. That’s something we’ll always be proud of and thank you to everyone for all your support.

From early June, Tottys will be managed by Gabrielle (Gaby). We wish her all the very best and hope everyone will give her the same warm support you gave us.

Join us this Sunday for a lunch done the traditional way with.

Choice of beef/chicken/vegetarian with fresh veg and all the trimmings including cheesy mash, parsnips, stuffing and Yorkshires.

Follow this with a homemade pudding: apple crumple, cheese cake, bread & butter pudding or chocolate cake - all served with custard, cream or ice cream.

Join us for a traditional roast on Easter Monday...

Tottys is ´chocker block´ for our traditional Easter Sunday Roast featuring lamb seasoned in rosemary (from the garden) and garlic (from Aldi).

As a result a number of people have asked if we are serving a traditional Easter Monday Roast (A.K.A a repeat of Sunday). We are very happy to offer this is there are a number of people who would like to join us.

What a fun Saturday we had at Tottys!

We hosted a group of 18 lovely ladies who joined us for a classic Tottys Afternoon Tea - with a few opting for our Savoury Afternoon Tea (think cakes replaced with sausage rolls, mini pork pies, chicken nuggets and mini pasties… delicious!)

There was plenty of laughter, chat and lots of wine/Cava (with a few cups of tea/coffee) - just the way it should be.

Thank you all for choosing to spend your afternoon with us. Hope to see you all very soon.
