As tomorrow is officially the beginning of spring🌷, we want to wish you an amasing spring filled with nothing but joyful events (don't forget that we create them ourselves😉).

CAN A CARTOON CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT?🤔

Our answer is YES!

Sometimes we need the most ordinary cartoons to understand important things, don't you think?

A sci-fi film that will pop into your head all too often when you think about the future.

There's the Earth🌍, where you can't live because of the huge amount of non-recyclable waste, and people who spend 24 hours staring at the tiny screen in front of them, unable to walk or work.

A beautiful and funny cartoon that you don't want to become a reality.

Saturday night is perfect for watching such a light, relaxing, yet thought-provoking cartoon!🥰

HOW TO SPEND A FRIDAY EVENING? (our ideas)

We want to share with you a couple of ideas to help you take a break from the weekday🧖‍♀️ and recharge yourself for the next week💪

✨Take a bath.

✨Prepare a delicious dinner.

✨Take a walk. Spring is about to arrive, so take time to watch nature change.

✨Have a cozy evening with your favourite book that you haven't gotten around to all this week.

✨Call your loved ones, the fast pace of life often makes us forget about our loved ones and the weekend is the perfect way to make up for it.

✨Have a mini-party at home with a loved one, your zoom buddies, or yourself.

✨Take stock of the week: find at least 5 things you have achieved this week and praise yourself.

✨Give yourself a spa night.

✨Do something you enjoy: paint, dance, sing, knit, sew. In general, do something you really enjoy.

You have bought a linen towel: HOW SHOULD YOU TAKE CARE OF IT?🤔🌾

New linen should be washed in colder water temperatures for the first few washes; this will set the mercerization process.

We recommend separating your linens from other items in the first wash.

Future wash temperatures should be at 40°C, but for stubborn stains, temperatures can be raised to 60°C. At that temperature, the smooth flax fibers that make up the linen material will release any staining.

If your washing machine allows you to select the water level, choose the highest one offered because linen is highly absorbent.

Avoid crowding the washing machine with too many items at once, as it can result in twisting or pulling the linen fabric out of shape. Be sure that any other items washed with linen clothing are similar in colour, weight, and washing instructions.

SOLID SHAMPOO: WHY IS IT ECO-FRIENDLY?🌿💚

Solid shampoo is a concentrated, soap-like product consisting of foaming agents and caring ingredients: plant extracts, essential oils, hydrolates.

In fact, a solid shampoo is the same shampoo we are used to, but without water and plastic packaging (which can't help but please).

🤍What are the benefits of hard shampoo?

By using solid shampoos you:

🕊️Minimize the consumption of plastic.

Most brands pack their shampoos in plain recycled cardboard or kraft paper. Others, on the other hand, offer to buy the product in a reusable tin sachet. Once your shampoo has run out, you replace it as a refill pack (a soft, economical pack of product that you refill into an existing bottle) in the same tin.

🕊️You reduce your water consumption.

The average shower with scalp washing requires 25 to 60 litres of running water. That's not counting the water used to make your favourite products: shampoo, mask, and conditioner.

🕊️Advocate frugal use.

Using 50 grams of solid shampoo equals 300 millilitres of regular shampoo. It takes up less space in your bathroom and, more importantly, in your luggage. If you're planning a trip, look out for solid shampoos - they can be carried in your hand luggage and won't take up much space. (And won't spill on your outfits).

How does the shape of the cup affect the taste of the tea?☕

We recently came across an article about: "Whether the shape of a mug can affect the taste of tea."
We found it interesting and would like to share the main ideas with you.

☕The shape of the cup does not affect the taste of tea but its aroma because different-shaped cups will spread differently.

The article compares tea to wine: "There are different glasses for a different type of wine, and the aroma of these wines spreads better from the glasses which are designed just for them. In the same way, teas all open differently.

☕Each tea needs its own " space ".

Some teas need a wide surface area and therefore a wider cup.
For others, it's the sip volume that counts, and you need a cup that's comfortable enough to drink the right amount at once.

It's important to consider how much the taste of your tea changes depending on its temperature.

If it's very hot, you'll need one cup, but if it's lukewarm, you’ll need a different cup.

The shape of the cup also depends on the season - in winter or summer, you want a very different feel of the cup in your hand and the tea itself.

☕A cup should be chosen according to your preferences as to the temperature of the beverage.

If the cup is lower and wider, the tea gets cold faster, if it is higher and narrower, the tea gets cold slower.

LINEN VS POLYESTER

Composition🤍

Linen: 100% natural fabric

Polyester: chemicals, oil products, and plastics that we sensibly don’t want to keep close to our body.

How it feels on the skin🤍

Linen: like your second skin. Warm you if you get cold, and chill you if you get hot.

Polyester: make it harmful to the skin and health in general.

Durability🤍

Linen: durable

Polyester: durable
But! because derived from plant linen fabric is more durable than polyester.

Breathability🤍

Linen: lets the airflow through the fabric, makes it the most breathable fabric.

Polyester: unbreathable it blocks the air to flow through the fabric.
