DTU International network Guidlines
Getting in the mix:
DTU international network wishes to create opportunities for all international employees to meet new people, create a network and generally have a great time getting to know DTU and Denmark. In addition, DTU International network encourages the mixing of Danish and international employees by planning a variety of social events and cultural
experiences. We host short activities to allow employees to meet, socialise, and develop friendships. A list of possible events includes:
• Speeches and talks: basic introductions to research at DTU, presentations of cultural relevance
• Sports events: indiaca, jogging
• Social events: city walking tours, movie night, Friday bar
• Cultural events: cultural mentoring, language classes/conversation coffees, foods of the world

There is also a DTU Spouse Network that is open to all international partners of DTU employees. The DTU Spouse Network is a social and professional network. All international employees and spouses are welcome to participate by organizing new events or suggesting new ideas or initiatives relevant to the aims of the networks. House Rules for the page
DTU – International network is a network where there is room for everyone, which we would like to be reflected on our page. Therefore, we have listed a few House Rules for the page.
• Speak properly and respectfully. There is room to speak freely and express different opinions, but we do not tolerate bullying or harassment of any kind nor any statements that violates other people or that encourages violence, threats or illegal activities of any kind.
• We acknowledge that there are a lot of exciting topics to be highlighted and debated but this page should be about things that are relevant for the network i.e. topics, activities and events that can help foster the social community at DTU.
• Repeatedly posting a message will be considered as spam and will be deleted.
• Respect privacy. If you upload or tag someone in a picture make sure that it is with people that want the picture to be online. If you see a picture of yourself on this page, and you do not want it to be here, please contact us via messenger.
• We do not tolerate images that may be considered offensive to others. Such images will be removed immediately. If you refrain from following these House Rules we will take action, i.e. delete messages and eventually block people who do not comply with our House Rules. We hope that you will all keep contributing to the positive atmosphere on this page so that none of these actions will be necessary.
