🎉 Dearest dancers, you are all warmly invited to our next fusion dance party on Saturday May 9th.

💖 At this event, dancers of all styles are invited to come together and experience the magic of freestyle partner dancing. If you can partner dance, you can dance fusion!

💃 This month's taster class will be a colloboration with CPH4Water. Led by the amazing Uwe and Towe, we will go through some communication basics in couples dancing, using Bachata moves as a means to practice the concepts.

🎵 Then our DJ will get us moving with tracks ranging from slow and squishy to high-energy bangers.

🕺 Whether you're into Bachata, Zouk, Kizomba, Tango, Blues, Salsa, Contact Improv, Swing – or just love moving to music – fusion is for YOU. Come as you are and dance however you want.

What is fusion?
✨ Fusion gets its name from fusing different styles of partner dance. Dancers draw upon their techniques from Ballroom, Bachata, Blues, Forro, Kizomba, Lindy Hop, Salsa, Tango, West Coast Swing, Zouk, etc. to dance together to different kinds of music.
✨ It’s all about connecting to your partner and the music in the moment and seeing what happens.
✨It’s playful, it’s experimental. It’s really, really fun.
✨ It’s a lovely opportunity for us to bring different partner dance communities together under one roof.

✨ If you’ve been to Blackout Bliss before, you’ve experienced the magic of micro fusion — melting into strangers, deeply connecting all night, riding the intimacy and endorphin-high this dance creates.

Previously, that connection has been physical, intimate… but not s*xual. Clear boundaries held that distinction.

For this event, we ask: what happens if we take those boundaries away?

What happens when we explicitly invite the er*tic onto our dance floor?

The foundation for this event is still Micro Fusion — a partner dance built on deep, intentional contact. In close embrace — a position like a full-body hug, but slower, richer, more alive — you’ll explore connection through stillness, breath, and subtle shifts in the body. With music as your guide, micro-movements ripple between you like electricity, creating a molten, gooey, grounded feeling.

And this time, we change the rules.

If s*xual energy arises, you’re invited to let it shape the dance. To play with teasing, anticipation, power, restraint, surrender — following the subtle (or not-so-subtle) pull of desire if and when it emerges between you and your partner.

Together, we explore what becomes possible. Maybe your dance will involve hair pulling, a firm grip of a wrist, some biting... Maybe it will end in a tender kiss.

ℹ️ PROGRAM
We begin with a Micro Fusion workshop with Maja and Johannes, learning the foundations of this connection — with a few naughtier possibilities woven in.

🕯️ Then the structure softens into a more open dance. The lighting drops into a dim, shadowy atmosphere — soft enough for the senses to take over, while still holding a sense of safety. Blindfolds will be available for those who wish to surrender sight entirely.

💖Guided by DJ Saratonin’s lush, layered soundscape, you’ll keep meeting, connecting, and exploring the unique chemistry of each interaction.

This is a space for meeting others skin-to-skin, heart-to-heart — where curiosity, sensation, intimacy, and desire can intertwine.

This is a consent-based, choice-led space. S*xual and intimate touch is welcome, but never expected. You are free to explore anything from subtle sensuality to more explicit play — always with mutual consent and clear communication. A Night of Live Music — For Lovers of Close, Connected Partner Dance 💙

Only one week left until this very special event! We are so excited to welcome you all for a live concert created especially for partner dancers by the wonderfully talented Jake Green on Saturday, April 11.

✨ There’s something truly magical about partner dancing to a live musician — a dialogue between everyone in the room emerges as the music breathes, responds, and invites you into connection in a way recorded music simply can’t. Once you’ve danced to live music, you understand why dancers keep coming back for it. It’s one of those experiences that reminds you why you fell in love with partner dancing in the first place.

🎶Jake Green is a Blues musician with a powerful voice and soulful guitar playing. He has years of experience playing especially for dancers.

💃🕺We’ll begin the evening with a Blues taster class, giving everyone simple tools and a shared language so you can feel comfortable on the social floor. Come learn this juicy, grounded, deeply connected dance.

While Blues dancers will feel right at home, this night warmly welcomes dancers from all backgrounds. You don’t need blues technique. If you love close embrace, slow dancing, musicality, or partner dance where presence and connection matter more than steps — this evening is for you.

Come as you are. Bring your curiosity, your presence, and your love of music and dancing together.

IS THIS A FULLY OPEN PLAY SPACE?
We like to think of it more like a “spicy dance floor”. To keep that container, we will challenge you to:
- Remain mostly standing
- Change partners often

Within this, you are free to get creative, exploring where the music, your desires, and your partner wants to take you.

DOES THIS MEAN FUSION DANCING IS ALL ABOUT S*X?
No. This is a special event that we are hosting with House of Play. At all our other regular events and dances, the dancefloor remains a strictly platonic space.
