To all our guest and “ friends & family “ .

We apologise for taking some time for the small renovation of Balderdash : Summer in Copenhagen does slow down & this old building is quite unique and charming: therefore we decided to take our time and postponed our opening day till August 12th …

Till then we will work around the clock to see you again!

This year is possibly the first time I felt old in our industry, usually I don’t think about mortality ( cause I’m an idiot or that’s a default mechanism to override things ) with recent set backs of mental & a plethora of health issues, 2026 hasn’t been ideal but this message isn’t about the expression of “ playing the violin “ or sympathy baiting , this is exactly the life I chose and I expected it ! plus I live my life unapologetically and too proudly but this is more of a gratitude and thankfulness to my family, my amazing staff and “ friends & family “ of Balderdash , I thank you for the patience and support you have given us through out the years !

We are suppose to be open next Wednesday but as you know, we have been closed for a summer break but mostly renovation since July 12 and renovation has taken a lot longer than expected ! We will announce our new opening date by next week but believe me we are pushing to see you soon !
