Join us for the last Tuesday Tasting of the season on June 9th, with a returning guest: We’ll explore Danish natural wines with Anna from Sønderstrand winery.

Anna founded Sønderstrand with her sister in 2021 on the west coast of Sjælland. With a degree from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, experience from Rosforth, and many hours spent with winemakers in both Denmark and abroad, she has gained deep insight into wine production.

We will taste three single-varietal wines from Sønderstrand’s very first vintages. The evening will focus on the potential of hybrid varieties and what they can offer both in the vineyard and in the glass when produced in a clean and unmanipulated style.

This tasting – which is the last one of the season before we start them up again after summer – will be in Danish. We begin at kl. 18, but of course it is advised to arrive a bit earlier, so you can order snacks for the tasting. As always, we’re happy if you stick around afterwards for another glass! Tickets are already live on our website!

A lineup that travels from South Africa to Austria with plenty of sunshine & freshness. Five wines built for long evenings outside!

We begin in Swartland with Keep on Punching from Testalonga / Baby Bandito. Chenin Blanc with energy to spare – bright citrus, orchard fruit, and a lightly savoury edge. From Bourgogne, Le Prieuré by Domaine Duverne brings Chardonnay in a more classic mood. Ripe pear, gentle creaminess, and a mineral backbone that keeps everything elegant.

Next comes Super Singla from De Mena in Roussillon. A skin-contact Muscat bursting with florals, orange peel, and soft spice, balanced by gentle tannins and plenty of freshness.

A little rosé moment arrives with Himmel auf Erden by Christian Tschida. Made from Blaufränkisch, this is vibrant, juicy, and full of fresh red berries. Light & energetic. We finish in the Rhône with Glou from Ferme des Sept Lunes. Gamay doing exactly what Gamay should do: juicy red fruit and a vibrant freshness that keeps the bottle disappearing faster than expected.

This week’s lineup is beautiful! The only risk is falling in love with a wine you’ll struggle to pronounce after the second glass.

We begin in the Jura with Terre du Lias from Domaine de la Borde. Chardonnay with tension and lift – citrus, ripe apple, and a saline mineral edge. From Cahors, Le Bleu du Ciel by Ostal Levant gives us Chenin Blanc in a slightly unexpected setting. Fresh orchard fruit, soft texture, and lively acidity! Next comes Danse de St Guy from La Sorga in Roussillon. A wonderfully chaotic skin-contact blend of Chenin Blanc, Terret Bourret, Mauzac, and Muscat – floral, herbal, textured, and beautifully untamed. We finish in Tavel with Les Nuits de Java by Romain Le Bars. A joyful field blend of red and white grapes, bringing juicy berries, spice, soft herbs, and a fresh energy.

The weather can’t quite decide what it’s doing, so we figured the wines should cover all possibilities.

We start in Bourgogne with Aligoté from Nicolas Raspiller. Bright, citrusy, and beautifully refreshing, with green apple, a mineral edge, and lively acidity that keeps everything sharp and energetic. From Rueda, Y Lo Otro También by Esmeralda García brings Verdejo with plenty of character. Herbal, slightly salty, and packed Velt Skin from Kövesd. A skin-contact Grüner Veltliner showing dried herbs, orchard fruit, and a gentle tannic grip. A little rosé moment arrives with Grenache Noir from Terres des Nus in Provence. Fresh red berries, subtle herbs, and a dry, crisp finish that feels dangerously easy to keep pouring. We finish in Beaujolais with Marylou 2025 by Guy Breton. Pure Gamay with juicy red fruit and vibrant freshness. Light on its feet, full of charm, and guaranteed to disappear quickly.

Danish asparagus have finally arrived! To celebrate, we’ve created this dish around it with home made labneh – from .gaardmejeri ‘s yoghurt – and a parsley&tarragon herb vinaigrette. Fat, acidity, and salt – we’re happy to help you find a good match from our selection of white wines!

A new week, a fresh lineup, and once again we’re encouraging excellent decision-making through fermented grapes. Fresh Loire energy, Mediterranean sunshine, a Serbian orange with attitude, and a red built for easy drinking.

We begin in the Loire with Chenin du Puy 2023 from Frédéric Mabileau. Chenin Blanc bringing crisp apple, citrus, and that lively acidity that keeps everything bright and refreshing. From Roussillon, La Femme Soleil 2024 by Cyril Fhal lives up to its name. Macabeu with warmth and texture, balancing ripe stone fruit and soft herbs with a salty freshness underneath. Next, we head to Serbia for S/O 2022 from Bikicki. A skin-contact Sauvignon Blanc that’s aromatic, textured, and a little wild – tropical fruit, tea-like grip, and a savoury edge. We finish back in the Loire with Alerte Rouge 2022 by Jérôme Lambert. Pure Grolleau full of juicy red berries, light spice, and vibrant freshness. Exactly the kind of red that disappears faster than expected.

Spring is officially doing its thing, and so are we: pouring wines that feel like longer evenings, lighter moods, and plans that casually get extended!

We begin in Auvergne with Bariolage 2024 from Les Bariolés. A blend of Chardonnay and Aligoté bringing brightness and balance – citrus, green apple, and a light, mineral lift that keeps things refreshing. From Savoie, Bel Air 2024 by La Cordée Blanche shows Altesse at its best. Aromatic and elegant, with notes of white flowers, stone fruit, and a subtle alpine freshness that carries through the finish. For something more textured, we head to Emilia-Romagna for Vej 180 from Podere Pradarolo. A skin-contact Malvasia di Candia, offering dried apricot, tea-like tannins, and a savoury edge. Complex, and always a conversation starter. A touch of sunshine arrives with Médée 2022 from legendary Casot des Mailloles. A rosé made from Syrah, showing red berries, herbs, and a slightly deeper, more structured style that still keeps its freshness. We finish in Piemonte with Grignolino del Monferrato 2024 from Tenuta Migliavacca. Light in colour but full of personality — red fruit, spice, and that classic gently grippy tannin. Lively, rustic, and dangerously drinkable.

Five new wines, and we’ve somehow managed to make a perfect line-up for this sunny week! ☀️

We begin in Savoie with Point de Chut 2022 from France Gonzalvez. Made from Jacquère, this is crisp, clean, and mineral, with citrus, green apple, and that fresh mountain lift. A perfect opener.
From the south, Obreptice 2023 by Casot des Mailloles brings a warmer touch. Vermentino and Marsanne combine for ripe stone fruit, herbs, and a soft, rounded texture.
For something more playful, we pour Kapri-C 2023 from Abracadabra. A skin-contact blend of Cinsault and Viognier, offering floral aromatics, red fruit, and a light tannic grip. Juicy, slightly wild, and full of energy.

Right in the middle, Calanque 2023 from Terres des Nus gives us a rosé that feels like sunshine in a glass. Grenache-driven, with fresh red berries, a hint of herbs, and a crisp, dry finish.

We finish in the Loire with Saumur Rouge 2023 by Guiberteau. Cabernet Franc in a refined, elegant style – red fruit, subtle spice, and a fresh structure that keeps everything lifted and dangerously drinkable.

What is wine, really – and why does it taste so different from bottle to bottle?

This tasting is for those who are curious, but not quite sure where to start. Or how to order in a bar, to receive something you love. We’ll take it from the very beginning and make wine a little less mysterious (and a bit more fun).

We’ll talk about how good grapes are grown without pesticides or excessive chemicals, and how they eventually become the wine in your glass. What’s the difference between red, white, and orange wine? And how do you taste wine without sounding like a snob?

You’ll get simple, practical tools to taste, compare, and describe what you experience in the glass – without it feeling formal or intimidating.

Date: Tuesday, May 12
Time: 18:00
Duration: 1 hour
Price: 150 DKK

The tasting will be held in Danish and booking is already open on our website. As always, feel free to stay afterwards for another glass or something to eat!
