NOT YOUR USUAL wine bar is a fun and affordable wine bar in the center of Copenhagen. Our goal is to provide good wine at a great price - but more importantly to provide a comfortable and unpretentious place to learn about wine. Each Month we offer simple and enjoyable wine tasting and blind tasting sessions for beginners. These sessions along with other special events are a great way to expand y

our knowledge about wine. The more you learn, the better you become at understanding what type(s) of wine you love the most and why. Come on in and see for yourself our new approach for a contemporary wine bar!

Today we tasted wines from China. Yes… China. 🇨🇳🍷

Sometimes people ask us why our place is called Not Your Usual Wine Bar. Well, this is exactly why.

We love exploring the unexpected, discovering new regions, and challenging what people think they know about wine. And today proved once again that the wine world is much bigger than the “usual” classics.

Were they surprising? Absolutely.
Were they interesting? Definitely.
Will you maybe see one of them on our menu one day? Who knows… 😉

Last year, our homemade sour cherry liqueur sold out in no time.
This year, we’re releasing only 50 bottles from the new harvest — and that’s it.

These are the first and last 50 bottles available this year.
