The Danish crossover metal act WOLFHEAD hits SWAY as their last show for 2026 - a night of pure madness.

Since their debut at Wacken Metal Battle 2025, WOLFHEAD have quickly established themselves as one of the promising new names on the Danish metal scene. The Aarhus-based band has played shows across the country, supporting acts such as Sarcator (SE) and The Scratch (UK), as well as headlining Headquarters Aarhus — remarkably, only their third-ever live show.

WOLFHEAD is a high-voltage thrash metal band blending raw aggression with elements of glam, groove and grunge. Formed in 2021, the band became fully active in late 2024. Since then, they have developed a sound rooted in the golden age of metal, charged with a modern and rebellious edge.

Their music is an eruption of madness, emotion and electricity. Crushing riffs, pounding rhythms and unfiltered energy create a sonic storm where anything can happen. On stage, WOLFHEAD deliver a show that can be heard, seen and felt — a whirlwind of raw intensity and unity where the audience becomes an active part of the experience.

“It wasn’t until Wolfhead took the stage at Underværket that the energy truly took off. The Danish group delivered a high-energy performance, with the frontman repeatedly jumping into the crowd, creating an intimate and interactive experience that set the standard for the rest of the day.”

Now they bring their crossover metal and furious live show to SWAY.

Expect riffs, chaos, sweat and absolutely no brakes.

Maria Plazek , an art project led by Maria Plazek, celebrates diverse artistic expressions. Sometimes I wake up and I choose rolling baselines, another time it is rhythmics and hats.

All in all it is a freedom to chase the unknown and experimentation and playfulness that matters.

ENGLISH BELOW

As part of the Varm Op concept, you now have the opportunity to experience Louis Jarto, who will be performing more than 30 shows at local bars, pubs, cafés and student venues.

Louis Jarto has spent several years working hard to break through with his music, and he has taken a highly creative approach to making it happen. For example, he has turned up outside DR P3’s studio with his full equipment to play his music for them. He has done the same at numerous festival offices, hoping that one day his persistence will pay off and he will get the chance to perform on the Orange Stage at Roskilde Festival.

Now, he has been selected as this year’s artist for Tuborg’s new initiative, “Varm Op”, which aims to bring a new Danish artist into the spotlight through an extensive series of concerts at local venues.

Experience Louis Jarto LIVE at Sway the 17th of October. For more info visit the link in our bio.
